Kingdom of Kandy was the last Independent monarchy of Sri Lanka, which came under the British in 1815. The beautiful city is located in the heart of the Island and surrounded by magnificent mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio diverse rain forest.  The city’s heart is scenic Kandy Lake, which is popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, celebrated with the grand Esala Perahera annual procession. Our Chauffaur Guide will Pickup from your place and take you to Pinnawala  Elephant Orphanage, (this is located on the banks of Mahaoya) with by, air-conditioned vehicle. Most of the elephants in the orphanage are raised to maturity after having been found abandoned or injured in the country’s jungles. It is interesting to visit during the feeding and the bathing time. Later proceed to Kandy En-route visiting a Spice Garden and Batik Factory at your choice. In the afternoon, visit the temple of Tooth. Then tour the fascinating museum inside the royal palace of the last king of the island. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing stroll or a boat ride at the serene Kandy Lake. Discover the atmospheric city center on foot and stop by the lively market to browse fresh produce.Evening Visit that Kandy View Point. The last stop is Gem Museum and Kandyan cultural show. Finally, drive back to Colombo where your tour ends with a hotel drop-off.
